Vanities Spa Policies
The Cancellation Policy
You will need a valid credit card to secure the reservation - even if you are using a Vanities Spa Gift Card.
NO FEES or charges will occur unless the appointment is abandoned.
After your spa service, you can choose to pay by cash, check, credit card, or use a Vanities Spa gift certificate.
You have until noon the day before your appointment to cancel the reservation without incurring any fees. If for any reason you do not arrive there will be a minimum $50 "No Show" fee placed upon your credit card. Clients who repeatedly book and then cancel may be given a 3-strike leeway, but cancel too often and the cancellation fee will apply.
Services longer than 75-minutes, or over $150 are subject to a 50% fee.
Always email and/or call to cancel!
REMEMBER: You have until noon the day before your appointment to cancel or rebook without incurring any fees.
I understand that things come up to divert your Vanities Spa plans, and you may not know until that morning (car breaks down, husband or kids get sick, etc.). During those instances, while you will have my sympathy, you will also incur the appropriate fee. Your responsibility remains the same, as the short notice negatively affects the business in the same way. Think of it as reserving a room in a B&B: each client is very important to the continuation of the business, and therefore policies must be in place to protect the business. This does not affect our friendship. A fee is not a punishment, it's simply business protection. The only exception to this is infectious disease. If you have a cold, flu or other contagious condition, you will have my blessing if you cancel with short notice!
Clients with "Chronic Cancellation Syndrome" may lose their booking privileges altogether. It's a disease that is very rare. However, if someone is inflicted they will repeatedly book and cancel, book and cancel, book and cancel (even when within the 24-hour guideline, this causes the business deep distress). In these cases, we would prefer to refer them to some other lucky salon! Because of the repeated disruption of "CCS", there will be a charge assessed. Depending on how severe the "CCS" is, it could range from $50 minimum to full payment of missed appointments. The decision the spa makes is final and non-negotiable.
VANITIES SPA DOES NOT GIVE ANY REFUNDS: not on packages purchased, gift certificates, services, or product purchases. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If for any reason you feel you deserve a refund, the value of your item may be used in another way (service for product, give your purchase to a friend, etc.)
By booking an appointment you are accepting the conditions of these policies.
I value your business and trust that during the course of our relationship these instances will be rare, if they occur at all.
I thank you, in advance, for your understanding and compliance with this delicate and sensitive matter.

Courtesies
Under most circumstances, please leave children at home.
Please refrain from smoking right before your spa appointment. It's smelly and gross and can really wreck your spa experience (and mine).
Turn off your cell phone before you enter the spa - including the buzz feature.
Vanities Spa is not responsible for lost jewelry (or other items). Please leave it at home, or store it in your purse during services.
Please arrive ON TIME - not 15-minutes early like listed in some spa magazines - or late. I try to keep on schedule, so if you are early, you may arrive to find the outer door locked while I am still with the guest before you. If you arrive 10-minutes late or more, I may have to deduct time from your service. When booking, I naturally allow time for the client to change her clothes, use the bathroom, talk about products and reschedule before the next client arrives.
